AutoRek is a product of API Software Limited, which was created in 1994 as an information and data management consultancy. Based in Glasgow, we were Scotland’s first Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Business Intelligence Services and remain a Gold Certified Partner today.

The first deployment of AutoRek took place in 1998 to handle privatisation and de-mutualisation activity for a number of stockbrokers supporting large share sales. We discovered that existing reconciliation and control processes simply could not cope with the volumes, short timescales and accuracy demands being placed upon them.

Today, AutoRek is deployed globally and remains headquartered in Glasgow with offices in Edinburgh, London and New York. The dedicated team of experts possess extensive experience in finance, regulation and technology, and have supported implementations in many leading organisations.

Return on investment is typically achieved within 9 months, with speed to implementation a key feature as we work with your existing data. Solutions are scalable to support business growth in a well-controlled and automated environment.

AutoRek has recently completed a significant growth equity investment from Scottish Equity Partners (SEP). AutoRek’s cloud-based software as a service (SaaS) platform has experienced significant growth in the past three years and investment from SEP will enable the company to accelerate its product development plans and further extend its offering internationally.

The drive for greater integrity, transparency and accountability within the financial services sector has led to increased regulation of financial institutions and growing demand for AutoRek’s financial control and regulatory reporting solutions. AutoRek’s software automates high-volume reconciliation, exception management and data analysis workflows, delivering operational efficiency and improved governance of financial and regulatory risk. Partnering with SEP will support the company to further enhance its proposition to address a $2 billion plus per annum global regulatory and data management software market.
