SageCity began in August 2018 when its co-founders Adam Greenberg & Tom Sichel, noticed a rising number of startups who were pushing the boundaries of innovation but were limited by current options in traditional and blockchain solutions especially around financial and data management.
We began setting about designing the SageCity blockchain, a smart contracts enabled platform which focused on 2nd layer protocols, primarily sidechains to empower enterprises to drive innovation and most importantly, own their vision.
In December 2018, we had successfully built our beta platform and signed our first client with the goal of bypassing rising payment processor fees on digital micro-content. The team at SageCity designed a solution that reduced fees by over 70% and since then have never looked back. Now with a few clients under our belts we are ready for new challenges and opportunities.
The future for SageCity is bright and we are moving towards the next stages of development on the SageCity platform including governance protocols, Congestion engines and Dapp marketplaces.
