Fintech Across the Regions: Driving Growth & Innovation

Across the UK, regional fintech hubs are fuelling the next wave of innovation. From Scotland, Wales, the North and SuperTech, these ecosystems are building world‑class fintechs, creating jobs and shaping the future of financial services. On Thursday 20 November 2025, Mastercard will host a half‑day summit celebrating the strength of the UK’s regions and their role in powering fintech growth. This year’s theme - ‘Fintech Across the Regions: Driving Growth & Innovation’ - brings together founders, regional hubs, policymakers and Mastercard leaders for an afternoon of collaboration, insights and connections.

About FinTech Scotland

FinTech Scotland is a strategic cluster management organisation driving financial inclusion through fintech innovation and collaborations. Established in 2018, we support a vibrant cluster of fintech innovators, established financial firms, academics, government organisations, citizen groups and regulators.

Within this cluster, the vibrant fintech community now counts more than 250 fintech firms of all sizes developing innovative solutions in WealthTech, InsureTech, RegTech and much more. Using new technologies such as AI, blockchain and open finance date, those organisations are changing the financial services sector to drive better outcomes for citizen, societies and the environment.
