Exploring new markets with Export Champion Myles Stephenson, Founder & CEO of Modulr
Edinburgh
9.30am - 11.30am
The Department for Business and Trade (DBT), in collaboration with Scottish Development International (SDI), invites you to join a valuable session with Export Champion Myles Stephenson, Founder & CEO of Modulr. Myles will share his experience of growing a business internationally, as Modulr expanded beyond the UK to Europe (including The Netherlands, Spain, France & Ireland) and more recently the US. He’ll explain how and why Modulr started exporting and the challenges he overcame during the expansion into Europe. You will also hear about the opportunities in Spain and France for Financial, Professional and Business Services (FPBS) tech firms, the support available, and the key things to consider for each market. Even if these aren’t your priority markets, the session will still provide useful insights for exporting to any market.
If you are a tech business within the FPBS sector and curious about/or in the early stages of growing internationally, come and learn from one of Scotland’s most successful fintech leaders.
There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions throughout the session but equally, we would welcome any questions beforehand to help us shape the session accordingly. Please email Eleanor.Bradley@businessandtrade.gov.uk to express interest in attending.
