TAISK is an Edinburgh-based AI start-up founded in 2023 by Alex Fahie. It tackles Scotland’s productivity challenge, especially among SMEs, with a secure, user-friendly dashboard powered by Agentic AI that automates routine tasks such as invoice chasing, scheduling and email management. This frees staff to focus on higher-value work, improving efficiency and productivity.
TAISK differentiates itself by offering accessible tools for organisations of all technical backgrounds, emphasising responsible AI, safety and easy integration with existing systems. Benefiting from Scotland’s strong tech ecosystem, it aligns with the national agenda to promote ethical, trustworthy AI innovations that deliver tangible business outcomes.
TAISK was founded by Alex Fahie, who recognised persistent productivity challenges in Scottish SMEs and drew on his experience in tech-led social enterprises. After successfully launching Ethical Angel, an innovative, award-winning B Corp platform, he identified the barriers SMEs face in adopting advanced technology. Driven by a commitment to democratise access to AI, he established TAISK to provide practical, autonomous AI solutions for everyday business challenges.
Developed in consultation with local businesses, TAISK’s products address real pain points. The company quickly gained support from accelerators and the wider Scottish business community and is now regarded as an important contributor to Scotland’s effort to lead in responsible and effective AI adoption.
