The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) will hold its Annual Public Meeting (APM) in Edinburgh for the first time on 6 October 2026.
The Annual Public Meeting provides an opportunity to hear directly from FCA leadership, reflect on the regulator's performance over the past year and ask questions about its work, priorities and impact.
This year's event will take place at the Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh and will also be livestreamed, enabling people from across the UK to participate.
Attendees will have the opportunity to put questions to the FCA Chair, Chief Executive, Executive Directors and Board member.

On 7 and 8 October, the Amsterdam Fintech Event (AFE26) will take over Amsterdam WTC, uniting innovators, investors, and financial professionals from around the world. Jointly organized by the Holland Fintech Association and Cognito Amsterdam, AFE26 is a two-day festival of ideas and connections, built around informal conversations, fresh insights, and opportunities to collaborate.
AFE26 is about building the new financial infrastructure, centered around five themes:

This online conference will take place from 2–4 November 2026. It is organised by MDPI’s Journal of Risk and Financial Management (JRFM), a peer‑reviewed, open‑access journal covering risk management and all areas of empirical finance, management, and applied financial economics.
The primary goal of IOCRF 2026 is to bring together researchers, scholars, and professionals from around the world working across economics and finance. The conference will feature sessions on timely and emerging topics, including:
