Husu helps leaders understand what’s limiting capacity and what to change first.
A team may still feel stretched after recruiting, or struggle to take on more work despite investment in technology. Existing KPIs can leave leaders with unanswered questions about what’s happening and where to act.
Our platform, Diagnosu, uses a short, recurring organisational diagnostic to help leaders understand workload pressure and what may be contributing to it. Aggregated findings help them identify priorities, while repeated measurement lets them follow changes over time.
We put particular emphasis on choosing where to start. A useful action may be straightforward. The difficult part is deciding which change deserves attention first and having a clear reason for that choice.
Founded by two former NHS doctors, Husu brings diagnostic thinking to organisational performance. Our work with accounting firms has shaped the approach, and we welcome conversations across financial services and fintech.
Our clients are UK-based, including larger firms with offices overseas. We’re developing Diagnosu towards a more self-serve experience, with international expansion planned.
We’re also preparing to raise investment to bring technical expertise in-house and support further research and relevant certifications.
Through FinTech Scotland, we’d welcome introductions to leaders investigating capacity constraints, alongside potential technical and research collaborators.
Our aim is performance that people and businesses can sustain, with burnout prevention and retention considered alongside growth. That’s what we mean by “performance, sustainably”.
We founded Husu after working as NHS doctors, where we saw the consequences of sustained workplace pressure. We wanted to explore how organisations could understand and address those pressures earlier.
Our medical training taught us to investigate what was contributing to a problem before deciding what to do. Conversations with friends and family in accountancy gave us a starting point for bringing that approach into the workplace.
Husu was incorporated in May 2025 and launched in May 2026. Our early work combined Diagnosu with reporting and practical support, working closely with leaders as they interpreted the findings and considered what to change.
That work has shaped our emphasis on prioritisation. A recommendation doesn’t have to be complicated to be useful. It needs to address something that matters to the business, with a clear reason for choosing it over other possible actions.
At the Digital Accountancy Show, conversations about capacity and what existing KPIs leave unanswered helped sharpen how we explain Husu. Understanding how people can keep doing good work remains central to it.
Techscaler has supported us with pricing and bringing the product to market, and we exhibited at London Tech Week. Husu also received a £10,000 Young EDGE award through Scottish EDGE Round 27.
Today, we’re a two-person internal team working with external development support. Our clients are UK-based, including larger firms with offices overseas.
We’re developing Diagnosu towards a more self-serve experience and preparing to raise investment to bring technical expertise in-house, support further research and pursue relevant certifications. International expansion is also part of our plans.
We want to help leaders make better decisions about capacity while taking seriously what those decisions mean for their people. “Performance, sustainably” reflects that ambition.
