Ambition of TSB Innovation Labs
At TSB, we know that fintechs are making a major contribution within today’s banking industry, because they can evolve new propositions, helping customers make more of their money. It’s why collaboration and innovation through partnerships are important to us. (See FinTech Pledge)
TSB Innovation Labs is looking to develop more partnerships with fintechs and innovative companies in order to best serve the dynamic needs of TSB customers. These partnerships both help TSB achieve its innovation ambitions but also opens up access to the bank through collaboration and mentorship as part of the TSB Innovation Labs programme.

Our areas of focus
Small businesses
Helping SMEs to run and grow their business using new technologies and data.
Sustainable finance
Delivering against sustainability objectives, for example, utilise technologies to develop sustainable finance and increase customer and SME engagement in related climate themes
Cost-of-living crisis
Supporting and addressing the cost-of-living crisis, for example, providing meaningful financial support
What can I expect?
If you’re an innovative company who share TSB’s passion for helping customers and are interested in the challenges- apply to be part of TSB Innovation Labs.
For you, being part of TSB Innovation Labs will give you unprecedented access to business leaders and subject matter experts from across the bank who’ll be available to mentor you, collaborate and support you to help TSB solve these challenges and shape your partnership with TSB. There will be a series of events and support across three months in order to ensure your solution can be integrated within TSB and be deployed to TSB’s customers.

How to get involved
If you have or are working on a solution, service or product aligned to our area of focus, TSB wants to work with you.
TSB wants to collaborate with the winners of TSB Innovation Labs within 12 months so candidates applying to join TSB should have a working proof of concept as a minimum requirement and would ideally have existing clients.
We encourage diversity and are therefore encouraging founders of all genders, nationalities and backgrounds to apply whether they operate in the UK or somewhere else in world.
